We use these orange hybrid cutting pads for the bulk of our medium correction work — swirl removal, light buffer trails, single-stage paint correction. The hybrid foam structure holds compound well without caking and generates just the right heat on a DA polisher at speed 4 to 5. Works comfortable on a 5-inch backing plate and also tried the smaller size on a 3-inch plate for tight curved panels. Cleanup is easy — rinse under running water and they come back to near-new condition. Have gone through around 30 correction jobs with the same set and they still have consistent cut. No deformation or delamination which is the main failure we see with cheaper foam pads. Excellent value.
