Fleetwax 885 is specifically formulated for demanding marine, RV, and aviation environments where ordinary waxes fall short. Its long-lasting protection guards against UV degradation, salt spray, marine growth, and stains, while the high luster finish reduces drag by increasing surface sleekness – helping sailboats achieve higher speeds and saving on fuel costs. The formula is safe on exterior gel coat, fiberglass, clear coat, highly finished wood, painted plastic, and both painted and unpainted metals including chrome, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, and brass. It is not recommended for rubber, non-skid surfaces, black trim, vinyl, glass, or non-painted plastic. For surfaces with existing stains, dirt, or oxidation, first treat with Collinite Marine Cleaner Medium Cutting Compound 920 before applying Fleetwax 885.

How to Apply Collinite Fleetwax 885

Apply a thin coat of wax with an applicator pad to a clean section no larger than 2 x 2 ft at a time. Work only on clean, contaminant-free surfaces. When the wax begins to dry and a light hazy residue appears on the surface, remove with a dry microfibre towel or cotton cloth.
