Product Description

Built for larger fleet applications where efficiency and value matter, this single-step cleaner wax removes film, light oxidation, discolouration, and stains from fibreglass surfaces in a single pass while delivering a radiant, high-gloss finish and months of durable protection against the harshest marine conditions including UV exposure and salt spray.

Single Step – Clean, Polish and Protect

The 870 combines cleaning, polishing, and protective properties in a single formula – eliminating the need for separate preparation and protection steps. By removing surface contamination and light oxidation and then sealing the surface with a durable protective coating in one application, it saves significant time and product cost on large fleet jobs without compromising the quality of the finished result. For added protective durability on a clean surface, follow up with one of Collinite’s last-step waxes such as No. 845, No. 476, or No. 915.

How to Use – Application by Hand

Place a nickel-sized amount of product on an applicator pad. Rub in well over a section no larger than 2×2 ft using firm pressure, rubbing until just before the product begins to dry. Buff off with a GreenZ Gold All Purpose Microfiber Towel to reveal a crisper, darker, and more reflective finish. Reapply as necessary for stubborn contamination.

How to Use – Application by Machine

Place 5 small pea-sized dots of product onto the buffing pad – do not over-saturate. Place the pad on the panel and turn on the buffer to 5,800 OPM. Make 2 to 3 section passes with firm pressure over a 2×2 ft section. Lower machine speed to 4,800 OPM and make an additional 2 to 3 passes with reduced pressure. Buff until just before the product dries – never dry buff. Wipe off product residue from the panel with a clean microfiber towel to reveal a clean, glossy, and beautiful finish.

General Application Tips

Place a finger over the cap and shake well before use. The surface should be pre-cleaned, dry, and feel lukewarm to the touch before applying. Apply a small amount of No. 870 to a microfiber applicator pad and spread evenly across a 2×2 ft section at a time. Rub as necessary to loosen surface contaminants and light oxidation. As the product begins to dry, polish off with a dry microfiber towel.
