Collinite Pre-Wax Auto Polish 390 is the perfect first step in the Collinite paint care system. This all-new micro abrasive polish safely and effectively eliminates minor paint defects from the surface – including fine scratches, swirl marks, water spots, mild oxidation, and wash marks – finishing down to a smooth, brilliantly glossy result. Beyond correction, it also prepares the paint surface to improve the bond and facilitate the easy application of any Collinite last-step durable wax coating, making your protection last longer and go on more evenly.

Correct, Refine and Prepare in One Step

The 390 combines light correction and surface refinement with pre-wax preparation in a single product. By removing surface defects and creating an optimally smooth and clean paint surface, it ensures that the Collinite wax coating applied on top bonds more effectively and provides maximum protection and gloss. Whether you are using Collinite 845, Collinite 476, or Collinite 915, the 390 is the ideal preparation step before any final wax application.

How to Use – Application by Hand

Mist a GreenZ Polish N Wax Tri-Foam Applicator with pad conditioner to moisten the foam. Apply a button-sized amount of polish to the applicator. Work in a back-and-forth overlapping motion until the area begins to dry. Wipe off the polish residue with a damp GreenZ All-Purpose Microfiber Towel. Work in 2×2 ft sections until the entire vehicle is complete. Note that hand application will enhance gloss but will not remove swirl marks – for paint correction, machine application is required.

How to Use – Application by Machine

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and fully cured before starting. Work out of direct sunlight. Use a GreenZ Hybrid Orange Medium Cutting Foam Pad on a DA or rotary machine polisher. Apply a 6-inch line of polish to the vehicle surface and spread over a 2×2 ft area with the polisher turned off. Polish at 1,200 to 1,800 RPM (speed 5 to 6 on a dual action polisher), working slowly across and then up and down the area. Check progress after several passes. Once defects are removed, reduce pressure and continue buffing to achieve a high-gloss finish. If the pad becomes dry, mist lightly with water and continue. Wipe the area with a damp GreenZ All-Purpose Microfiber Towel to remove residue.

Always follow up with a suitable paint protection product such as a Collinite wax, ceramic coating, or paint sealant after polishing.
